With commissioning of the new universal testing machine ZWICK 100 THW in December 2013, the range of services of HEGGEMANN AG in the area of material and component testing has been significantly expanded.
From now on, tensile, compression, bending and cyclic tests on metals, plastics, composites and other materials with a test load of up to 10 t (100 kN) can be carried out with the calibrated machine of the materials testing specialist ZWICK-ROELL. The adjustable traverse path allows examinations of samples and components up to a maximum dimension of 1,200 x 500 mm.
The high rigidity of the machine frame, the maintenance-free drive, the data acquisition "makroXtens" installed together with the machine as well as the control and evaluation software "testControl II" are prerequisites for precise and reproducible test results at all times.
HEGGEMANN AG is thus investing sustainably in quality assurance in the development and implementation of highly stressed lightweight structures.
The overall configuration of the testing machine is state-of-the-art in testing technology and provides reliable results in accordance with current aerospace and automotive industry standards.
