Since October 2013, HEGGEMANN AG has had a BySprint Fiber 3015 laser cutting machine from Bystronic. This machine can process sheets of 3000 mm x 1500 mm and thicknesses of up to 12 mm with the highest precision and speed.

Even materials with high thermal conductivity, such as copper and brass, can be cut using the BySprint Fiber 3015. The peculiarity of this system is the high-tech fiber laser, which ensures a high proportion of output while maintaining excellent cutting quality. Another advantage is the shuttle table, which enables an optimal flow of material and whose use significantly reduces non-productive time. Because of these advantages, the productivity of the BySprint Fiber 3015 is many times higher than that of the previous system.
From an environmental point of view, the BySprint Fiber 3015 is a win-win, as fiber laser technology works with significantly reduced energy consumption.
In addition, the complete encapsulation of the system in conjunction with the powerful extraction system ensures emission-free operation and occupational safety at the highest level.
The investment in the new laser cutting system represents a further expansion of HEGGEMANN AG's core competencies in sheet metal processing of high-strength materials used in the aerospace and automotive industries.
